Following the success of the 2025 edition held at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Piacenza, Italy), we are pleased to invite submissions for the 2026 International Conference in Banking and Financial Studies (ICBFS 2026), to be held on 10–11 September 2026 at the University of Parma, Department of Economics and Management.
This conference provides a dynamic platform for scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to explore the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in banking and finance. Through insightful discussions and collaborative engagement, the conference aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of the evolving global financial landscape.

Publication Opportunities
All accepted papers must be presented at the conference. Among the presented papers, the co-chairs will invite selected manuscripts for submission to partner journals.
The submission window to supporting journals is expected to run from October 15 to November 30, 2026.
Authors will be required to submit a “Response to the Discussant” letter, detailing how the discussant’s comments were addressed in the revised manuscript, in order to facilitate and expedite the review process. Selected papers may benefit from an expedited review process (single-blind or double-blind, depending on the journal’s policy).
Submitted papers must not be under consideration by any other journal.

Timeline and Submission Process
Papers and extended abstracts should be submitted by June 30, 2026 (early submissions are highly encouraged).
Submissions should include:

- A full paper or extended abstract without author identification
Decisions will be communicated during the first week of July 2026.
