The Department is easily accessible by major transportation means. It is approximately 1.5 km from the train station, about 6 km from the highway exit, and around 4.5 km from the airport.

BY CAR

Paid parking spaces are available at the Department in the underground parking lot (Parking Kennedy, Parma) and on-street in the blue lines (click on the links to get directions via Google Maps).

BY TRAIN

The Parma train station is located along the Milan – Bologna – Rome route.

BY BUS

At the Parma train station, on level -2, you can take TEP bus No. 7 towards "Università"; alternatively, from Viale Bottego, in front of the train station, you can take TEP bus No. 23 towards "San Secondo". In both cases, get off at the "Barriera Santa Croce" stop and, in a few minutes, you can walk to the Department along Via Kennedy John Fitzgerald.

ON FOOT

From the Parma train station, the Department is about a 17-minute walk; on the way you will have a chance to pass by Parco Ducale, one of the city's parks. The recommended route from the train station is shown on Google Maps (from PIAZZALE CARLO ALBERTO DALLA CHIESA to FACOLTA’ DI ECONOMIA)

AIRPORT

PARMA AIRPORT is connected to the city center and the train station by TEP bus No. 6. The stop is located a few meters from the airport entrance, and a ride is guaranteed every 30 minutes.

MILANO MALPENSA - PARMA
Take the train "Malpensa Express" from Milan Malpensa to Milan Central Station. Journey time: approximately 1 hour. Arrival at Milan Central Station. From Milan Central Station, take the train to Parma. The direct train takes approximately 1½ hours to reach Parma station.

MILANO LINATE - PARMA
Take the blue M4 metro (towards San Cristoforo) to S. Ambrogio station (approx. 18 minutes). At S. Ambrogio station, change to the green M2 line (towards Cascina Gobba) and get off at Milano Centrale station (approx. 12 minutes).
From Milano Centrale Station, take the train to Parma. The direct train takes about an hour and a half to reach Parma station.

BERGAMO ORIO AL SERIO - PARMA
Take a shuttle bus (Flibco, Terravision or Flixbus to Milano Centrale Station; travel time approx. 1 hour). From Milano Centrale Station, take a train to Parma. A direct train takes approx. 1½ hours to reach Parma station.

BOLOGNA-PARMA
From the airport, take the Marconi Express rail shuttle service to Bologna Central Station (approx. 7 minutes). From Bologna Central Station, take the train to Parma (approx. 1 hour).

The taxi ride from the train station to the Department takes about 10 minutes.
